Sending documents via the patient web portal

Important: Only patients at clinics with this feature enabled can send documents.

Depending on your clinic's Salve setup, you may be able to upload and send documents to your clinic from the patient web portal. To send files to your clinic, please click on the Add + button in the Documents section.

You will be taken through to the file uploader where you can choose the files you would like to send, pick a message category for your uploads to be sent from, and write an optional message to accompany your files.

Choosing files to be sent

You can either drag files from your computer directly into the grey box or click on the + icon or browse files to open your device's file browser.

After adding one or more files to be sent, you will see the files listed under the Files section. From there you can either remove file/s by clicking on the X next to them, remove all of the files by clicking on Clear all, or add more files by clicking on Add files

Writing a message to go with your files

When you have added the files you wish to send to your clinic, you will then need to select a message category for your files to be sent. You can also write an optional message to accompany your files to give your clinic any relevant context. 

Sending your files

Check the checkbox to acknowledge that once the files are sent to the clinic, they cannot be deleted or rescinded, then click the Upload & send button to submit your files to your clinic.

If your files are sent successfully you will see a confirmation pop-up to confirm the files have gone through. From this pop-up you can either click Send more files to send another batch, or you can close the modal by clicking X or the Home button.

Where to find your files and message

The files and any accompanying message you’ve written will appear as a new conversation in your chat inbox in the app.

You will also be able to view the files you have sent by navigating to Documents in the app and tapping on the Sent tab. You will also find them in the patient web portal by going to Documents.
