Using EngagedMD in Salve
Important: This feature is only available if your clinic uses EngagedMD, and if your clinic has set you up with an EngagedMD account.
EngagedMD via the Salve app
While logged into the app, tap on the ㆔ menu and you will see an EngagedMD option if your clinic has this feature enabled.
As long as you have an EngagedMD account associated with your Salve email address, tapping on EngagedMD will then automatically sign you into your account. Please note that your Salve registered and EngagedMD registered email will need to match exactly, including any case sensitivities.
EngagedMD via the Salve Patient Web Portal
The EngagedMD feature of Salve, if enabled by your clinic, can also be accessed via our Patient Web Portal. Go to https://patientwebportal.salvehealth.com via any browser and log in with your existing Salve account details.
Once you have logged in, click on the EngagedMD option in the side navigation bar. As long as you have an EngagedMD account associated with your Salve email address, you will be automatically signed in. Please note that your Salve registered and EngagedMD registerd email will need to match exactly, including any case sensitivities.

- If you experience any issues with your EngagedMD account, you can reach out to EngagedMD directly via the chat bubble within your account (shown above in the bottom-right corner) or contact your clinic for assistance.
- If you experience any technical issues with the Salve platform, please contact your clinic, and they will forward the request to us.
EngagedMD is managed entirely by your clinic — Salve only provides a link (iframe) for you to access it. This means we don’t have access to or manage your EngagedMD account.
The most common reasons for this issue are:
- The email address you use to log in to Salve is different from the one your clinic used to create your EngagedMD account.
Or, your clinic hasn’t yet created an EngagedMD account for you.
We recommend that you contact your clinic and ask them to check that:
- An EngagedMD account has been created for you.
- The email address linked to your EngagedMD account matches exactly your registered Salve email address (including case).
Alternatively, you can contact EngagedMD support directly via the in-app chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of your account.
