I can't view a letter/document sent to me (iPhone)

Old format Word documents (Word Document 97-2004 .doc) aren't compatible with iOS, so when you're sent a letter in this format you won't be able to view them immediately. But there are a couple of options!

1. Download the Word app and open the document there
2. Email the document to yourself or someone else to view on desktop

Download Word and open the document

1. Download the Word app from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/microsoft-word/id586447913
2. When you open the document in Salve, tap on the share button in the top-right corner:

   

3. Tap on the 'Copy to Word' icon that appears in the options that slide up (if it doesn't show up, tap on the 'more' button on the far right):

4. The document will then open in the Word app and you'll be able to view it 😊

Email it to yourself or someone else

1. When you open the document in Salve, tap on the share button in the top-right corner:
   

   

2. From the options that slide up, please tap on the app you use for your email e.g. Mail, Outlook, etc. I use Gmail, so I've highlighted that in the image below:
   

3. You'll then be taken to your email app to compose an email with the document attached. You can either send it to yourself or send it to someone else (like your partner).
